Indeed we can't - I agree totally.
I think that there was more than enough latitude in the fee to chase the rib.
We don't know this. You said it yourself in your line above.
I think that it is a matter of running a gravure down the grooves of the rib. Perhaps I'll have it redone and advise you of the 2012 cost.
Or you could attempt to do it yourself and let us know how difficult and time consuming it was.
Again, just my opinion.
As I gave mine as well.
