TPS says that there were a couple guns listed in the stock books (as early as 1915) as having extra long and wide "tips". These guns were about 8-10 years before the btfe or "trap" forend was a catalog offering or began to appear more often in the records. Hard to tell if these couple of special order guns had the bolt. But most certainly any after the early 1920's would.
