The way it wraps around the tang on the top is seen sometimes on Parkers, but very seldom. The biggest thing is the lack of the tail at the back of the pattern on the wrist that tells me it is most likely not oririginal checkering.

The wood is also kind of beat up in the action panel area. The view from the top makes it just look like gouges or dents. But the one pic form the side almost makes it look like it had a piece spliced in for a repair. Pics are bad. hard to tell.
