Default 1st. Post - Please tell me about my Parker

Good Morning Parker Enthusiasts. This is my first post so please don't flame me if I fail to follow proper etiquette.

My father-in-law died several years ago and we thought that we had found all of his firearms. When I was looking through one of his outbuildings a month ago, I came across a slightly rusty, double barrel shotgun. After cleaning it up with 4/0 steel wool I found the name Parker Bros. on the rib along with the Connecticut manufacturing address.

I cannot make out the type of barrel it has although it looks to be either twisted steel or a Damascus barrel. The gun breaks down easily and, based upon PCGA indicators, here is the other information:

-Frame size= 2
-Weight= 49
-Grade= P
-Serial No.= 825** (which I think is 1895-1896 production year)
-Barrel Length= 32 inches

It has ejectors that protrude when the gun is opened. It does not have the checkered stock. It has, what looks to be, a plain walnut stock in good condition with a hard plastic butt plate with the name Fajen on it.

I haven't had the oppoprtunity to take pics of the gun to post here but hope you can tell me what I have and maybe an estimated value.

Thanks for your input,
Tom
