Glad you asked Russ...
When we first began to see bumper stickers and window stickers back in the '70's of such things as
"I *heart* My Labrador Retriever" or
"I *heart* My Grandkids" or
"I *heart* My Volvo" and so on and so on... we thought they were clever and novel but soon got sick of seeing them. Littel did we know that Parker (under ownership of Remington) actually started that fad with that little heart which, of course meant,
"I Love My Parker".
