Here is my answer from the Curmudgeon at Ballistic Products.

"BP has a number of "shorty" 10-GA loads. They are scattered about in the various subject manuals... lead, ITX etc... C fires his Ithaca SXS 10 2 7/8" at almost anything... prefers PB, SR7625 etc. powders as they supply consistant presures and higher speeds wiht light loads in the wide bore. The VP100 equiped with "springy" crush section provides consistent (test to test) levels of both speed and pressure. With ITX shot the Short-10 runs other combinations of the map. A wonderful duck & pheasant cannon!

At this point the BP lab time line cannot perform special (individual) testing. The facility is running at maximum effort. BP has the largest library of loads on anyone in the industry (pushing some 7,000 now...) But if you let C know the area that you are looking for (and includes products the BP has an interest in) C can sometimes slip the request into the mix. C"
