Every "real" Del Grego/Runge upgraded Parker I have examined has been clearly marked, per 'Brush Buster's" photo above, regardless of grade or gauge. Runge's signature on factory-engraved Remington guns other than Parkers can be hard to find: on his D- and F- grade repeating shotguns and rifles his initials are often found standing freestyle along the rim of a rock or the base of a clump of grass in game scenes; other times they are prominently spelled out "RPR" within a small oval centered in the lower orbit of the border of the game scene. I never trusted descriptions of guns at sales or in catalogs for auctions "attributed to Robert Runge, Remington Master Engraver", that were "so nearly identical in style and execution" that they "almost certainly" were his work. You would be surprised at how many are not.
