The answer is that a dozen to 2 dozen manufacturers made the "original" Parker cases. Most were Leg-O-Muttons and ranged from wallet-thin leather to the great beefy saddle-grade skirting leather used by Brauer Brothers of St. Louis, Heiser of Denver, and Red Head of Menominee WI. There exist a very few true English-style oak and leather cases made by the Utica Luggage Co. of Utica NY in which you will see the highest grade Parker Guns. Parker Bros. offered a plethora of qualities and styles of gun cases in their catalogs over the years, all made by different manufacturers, and in the later years of production Abercrombie and Fitch cased many Parkers in their great little trunks made by Brady of London. Ergo, there is no such thing as an "original Parker guncase", produced by Parker Bros,. but in essence every case bought to carry a Parker Gun is an "original Parker guncase." Case closed.
