Actually, Bruce, I was trying to make some excelsior-like shavings to mix with wood glue and use as a wood filler for the hollowed-out stock on Kathy's Repro . . .
. . . it's a long story but it had a very short ending . . .
It was a calculated risk . . . I simply miscalculated.
