The early Miller single selective triggers used the safety as the selector, with SAFE in the middle, right/left foreward and and left/right back. Same as the Miller and later Howland single selective triggers on the NID Ithacas. Later Miller single selective triggers had a rocker switch selector at the front of the trigger, and the safety was a conventional two position. As far as I know the safety selector was quite satisfactory, and to my way of thinking is the only selector that could actually be used on the flush.
