EH 10 Case Colors and Barrels
I bought this old duck hammer as a "bolt through the stock" Parker for the hazardous conditions of hunting in duck boats.
I can't seem to leave a gun ugly so I decided to have this 1889 #2 frame 10 gauge restored just enough that it still looked like it might have 100 years ago.
I left the wood as it was with the exception that Jerry Andrews removed the bolt, hid the repair, and recut the checkering. Nice job Jerry!
The barrels were redone in Black and White by Brad Bachelder.
Brad also re-case hardened the receiver for a soft, worn look. I'll let you judge the soft colors and if they fit this gun!
Overall I think this is a good looking duck gun. It is not my best looking Parker but it is one of the most deadly. In it's softly restored condition I shot it out of a layout boat this season without worry of a new scratch or two.

The album for this gun is at:

This is the same shot as the previous photo but I adjusted the light. Notice how the colors change?:
This is the hand screw that was mentioned below. The little wear seen here looked much worse in the previous photo. Poor photography does not make a poor gun... so I removed my bad photo!
