Dennis you forgot one of my favorite classified/auction site shot. My favorite is the full length gun photo with toes, socks and shoes sticking into the bottom of the frame.
Now honestly, when hanging out in a forum I don't worry about the quality of others photos. I'm glad they are here participating, sharing their knowledge and excitement. Bad photos or great I like to see them.
I realize that, to some, a camera setting beyond "automatic" can be moving into a scary realm. They don't call them point and shoots for nothing. I earn my living with my cameras and I'll make an offer here: if anyone wants tips, pointers and help on taking better firearms photos drop me a note and I'll be happy to share my knowledge and experience.
