A chopped stock has a considerable effect on price, at least 3-4000$ and the gun will never be original even if you replace the stock with a good reproduction or other remediation. It is the kind of thing that makes a collector weep. Also remember what Bill Murphy said about the barrels. Please bargain hard for the gun as you will end up spending money to put the gun right and $ value is always what someone else is willing to pay you for it.
