Actually, I believe The Parker Story documents about 381 8 gauges. They are the rarest of all the "regular" gauges--8, 10, 12, 16, 20, 28, and .410. I personally believe that the true number is slightly more than 400 as I have seen a fair number of original eight gauge Parkers that are not listed in the books. I have studied the 8s for a number of years and have owned 4. I currently own 2--a 34" six frame hammer in grade 1 and a 36" six frame PH. Good luck with yours. Bill
