The stampings are quite sharp with no residual marks present. The forend lug is also stamped D 4. I have noticed that Bakers with English Twist are stamped with an L. Damascus such as found on the Paragons is stamped with a D.
This pattern has a repeat of two wide bands followed by a narrow band. The narrow bands are broken chainette. The wide bands form a flower like pattern, similar to a rose.
Perhaps it is Rose and Chain ? The second set of barrels are just as perfect.
