Bob, there never was a pad offered on originally equipped guns, Richard Skeuse answered that question in this previous thread:

I had read somewhere, don't recall where, that Parker Reproductions had considered a pad option on the Sporting Clays Classic models, but apparently that never materialized before production ceased.

Here's my Sporting Clays Classic model that a previous owner installed a black Pachmayer Decelerator Sporting Clays Pad that I subsequently changed to a Galazan Correct Period Pad:
