Default Identification help

Here's what I have: Mfg date 1891 Hammerless matched by serial number. Serial number series is 65,xxx
Barrel info and stamps are 12ga., "wgt 48" legnth 30" , frame size "1"
my research shows that 5,122 barrels were made stamped as "TWIST" that year
Ecthings and engravings match a Grade 1 PH
Double triggers, serial numbers match on all barrel, frame and fore end stock.
Original stock revarnished by granpa 40 yrs ago but uncut or changed.

Heres my problem, the grade stamp on the water table looks like an "L" with a smaller circle like a temp degree mark on the upper right of the "L" . It might even be an "I" or "P"?

Any info will help as to value, identification of the gun or suggestion of someone that has the expertise to ID this gun with a degree of authority. I can email photos if it helps (because I havent figured out how to put them here) Thanks
