Yes, our buddies like the Pugster and Tony G. are essential players helping to maintain the rheological properties of the fine and not-so-fine firearms market(s). Like soybean futures, they and their ilk help to shape a market that no one has any idea when, how high, or how low, it will go. They and others have wound up with "long ball' purchases ultimately being listed at "make offer" endpoints. The process often results in quizzical descriptive terminologies as, "probably factory redone by..', and "excellent as originally refinished by..." Auction previews attended live prove to be the great leveler in the end.
