Generally if a stock is bent, especially that much for drop, there will be physical evidence of it. In the inletting. Gaps or chipping wood. Ie: if the stock was bent up, the back of the trigger plate under the guard may have a gap. Or there may be fitment issues with the guard tang. Or signs of issues being corrected. I have seen it before.
An inch change in drop is a LOT.
