Update:"Geek Squad" diagnosed it as an interference from an onboard desktop security site that defers/delays contact with certain sites - in this case 2 having to do with guns. Apparently security function targets heavily used sites to protect against hackers and ne'er do wells, timing them out of opening sites suspected as vulnerable.
Also revealing that certain Big Box electronic dealers' Wi Fi routers will allow ID of the site(s) but will not allow access under a "Weapons" type moniker. Is Big Brother now using AI ???
