12ga GH #1 Frame Damascus Straight Stock
My first post since the site has been back up. As always, it’s good to be here!
I wanted to share a few pictures of a recent acquisition. It has been a while since I had a #1 Frame 12 gauge hammerless Parker. This GH is such a joy, 28” damascus barrels chocked IC/M with a straight stocked, weighs in at 6lbs. 11.4oz. In my humble opinion, everyone goes crazy over ½ frame 12s, while these #1 frame guns are almost always lighter and a great value.
Made in 1900 this is just such a great example of what Parker could do. Is there anything better than a straight stocked Parker with damascus barrels? Such a delight to carry and I have been having a little too much fun with at sporting clays. Looking forward to using it this upcoming hunting season. All I did, was have Breck Gorman refinish the barrels as all the finish was gone(it looked like it had been removed). The barrels look wonderful now.
I also wanted to mention these Fiocchi shells. They are basically a standard 20 gauge load. I was able to reach out there at some long shots. Recoil was light, but you still knew you were shooting something. I already ordered a few more cases.
Thank you,
Jay
