It's a long cool story. Rather tell it face-to-face than type it all out. Long, hard climb to get to the lion. Shot it at about 30 feet with a .22-250 right in the boiler room. Dead before the report echoed across the mountains. One week later I had my first knee replaced. Does that part say enough??
I am in no way comparing one hunt to the things Dave F did chasing lions. He told me some of his exploits and he's the MAN!!
