That’s correct. The trade edition has cloth-covered boards while the limited edition has Morocco or leather covered boards and is slipcased with the same covering.
Originally the two-volume trade edition was $295 I believe while the limited edition (which incidentally was also signed by all the authors on a paste-in label) originally sold for $500.
