And it is just an
utterly beautiful gun to boot. I buy a lot of guns from Cabela's and I have experienced "things" like this too. Over the years there have been several issues with them similar to this one. The last one, about six weeks ago, was an Autumn brown Browning Double Auto. So, who'd want one of those things; well it was in very good condition, had a vent rib and the proper butt plate for $460 bucks. When I called back the next day to see if they had shipped it the guy told me "oh, I thought you wanted the other Double Auto we have. I already sold that gun yesterday". This was after I gave him my Black Cabela's MasterCard and we talked, in detail, about the gun. Yes, I wanted to strangle him and I did chastise him; GREATLY. But I've learned to move on to the next super deal from the "Worlds Foremost Outfitter". There's really no oversight from anyone at that organization, unless of course, you know Johnny Morris personally, which I don't.
