A few years back when my sika deer hunting friend had a cabin in the Poconos I spent quite a few evenings in watering holes in the Poconos and it amazed me the number of deviled boiled eggs the local guys consumed
When I’d come up for the PA deer opener the group I hunted with always wanted to have boiled ham/cabbage/potatoes the night before and of course there was a jar of boiled deviled eggs for cocktail hour . Needless to say I kept my hunting clothes in a plastic garbage bag until time to get dressed so they didn’t pick up the uh “aroma” of the bunk room
