These may be a limited run called "The Grouse Gun." The 20-gauge version had 25" barrels, choked IC/M. Round knob grip. These were engraved by the late Ned Smith with a gold RGS symbol.

The run of 20-gauge was 250 shotguns. These sold at the time for $1600 (1984).

They later produced 25 sets of 12 and 20-gauge guns at $3500 (1984).

Like everything else, condition is everything. People like those Model 101's.

Can't place a value on them without seeing them or any more information, but hopefully this helps a little.

If you type "Winchester Model 101 Ruffed Grouse Society" into a search engine, plenty of info and previous auction sales turn up.
