I’ve dealt with keds a few times when deer hunting up around Shohola Lake gamelands in the Poconos of Pennsylvania, during years when the weather was warm. They’re quite irritating as they land or crawl up on you and make their way to your neck and up into your hair. I’ve never been bitten or anything but it’s unnerving and irritating.
