As Brian stated, a 1 or 1 1/2 frame Parker would be easier to carry.
I would suggest a lower grade initially, like a VH or VHE with 28" barrels. Try to find one with 2 3/4" chambers unless you have the ability to load 2 1/2" shells. The later Parkers with fluid steel barrels and 2 3/4" chambers are out there but are a bit harder to find. I have a few 12 ga. Parkers on the 2 frame chambered for 2 1/2" ammo but I shoot standard 2 3/4" ammo all the time as the chambers are stout enough.... BUT I'M NOT RECOMMENDING ANYONE ELSE DO THIS.
