My grandson, Cam's, VH 20 gauge on the 0-frame, No. 228145 was sent to Remington to be refurbished in the 1960's and got a new butt stock and grip cap then.
Anyway, I presume they did not send it off to DelGrego to do the work. The whole thing was facilitated by Orvis in Manchester, VT.
