Default No proof marks

The more I’ve been reading up on a lot of these guns that you guys have. The proof marks are telling a story on it it seems. It shows the chamber if it’s rated for nitro amongst a lot of other things. While my old Charles daily doesn’t really really seem to have anything on it is that common? The only thing it really has is the serial number. A number 65 which I’m guessing is the chamber length which is incorrect anyways cause if it is 65 mm it’s been bored out to 2.775”(2 7/8”) Chambers. And there’s one or two initials on it. So is this common with the Charles daily line versus Parkers? It seems like the parkers have a parade of stamps all over the barrel and the receivers versus mine. With help of members research my gun has been dated to about 1873.
