Default A Trio of Parker 16s Do Damage

Monday 11/6 I had the pleasure of hosting Keavin and Brandon Nelson for a pheasant hunt at Ringneck Ridge. We had perfect weather, sunny and temps in the low 40s with a slight breeze. Brandon shot a PH 1 frame which started life as a 12g. Keavin sleeved the gun down to a 16 and it is a bird slaying machine. Keavin used his trusty VH and I had my reliable "Old Reliable" 28" Trojan. We had a 12 bird hunt. We flushed 18 birds and killed 12. We only had one bird get away that we pulled the trigger on. The rest were wild flushers. The terrain and habitat were excellent as usual and the dog work was stellar. Callie and Mick were dialed in. In other words "It was a good day, Tater!"
