Came strolling by eating acorns Friday night around 6:15 pm, I am now hunting with a Mission MXB crossbow, he only went 75 yards and piled up.
Even after all these years, it still gets my heart pumping. It was a good 30 minutes from time I first saw him, until he presented a good shoot opportunity. Now I can concentrate on taking other hunters out this fall. I have several first timers I am hoping to get on their first deer.
