I know of at least a couple of D1 grades (Damascus Grade 1) in the 40,000 range as Dean mentions. I shot one in the hammer gun event two years ago at the Challenge. I also saw one offered on the internet about a year ago. They are beyond the keyed forend era. Both that I have seen have the large Damascus pattern as on Jeff's gun. The Parker Story says there are 18 Grade 1 Damascus lifters and 242 Grade 1 Damascus top action hammer guns. Also, Jeff's new lifter is beyond the "dollar grade" era, according to the Serialization Book. Looks like a 2 or one of the 18 1s, more likely a 2, a G like Jeff says. It has no grade stamp on the water table, Jeff?
