Peter , scroll up to the top of this page on the left side you will see a Tab " PGCA Home " Click that ,it will take you to the PGCA Home Page then look down the left side column ,you will see " FAQS " Click that it will take you to a new page ,scroll down until you see "Parker Maintenance and Repair " at that point scroll down to # 7 " I can't get my forend back on ,click that and you will see my hands recocking a 16 Gauge V Grade forend with a Pencil using the eraser in case it slips the eraser should help prevent damaging your wood ! Make sure to hold onto the forend very solidly ,it takes a lot of push to recock them ! Hope this helps !
