Personally, I believe that the no profanity rule is frequently violated, with the offending words or phrases being encoded by the poster by way of abbreviations, or by substituting some letters with initials, blank spaces, figures, or symbols.
The proscribed language, despite the nod to compliance, still registers in the mind of the reader with the blatancy of the original.
