Just to add a little more information to the discussion, I am in process of writing an article for Parker Pages that will cover the last damascus Parkers. In it, I will cover my like new damascus GH, serial 220657, that may be the last damascus GH (or any grade) as the whole barrel logo is hand engraved. I have surmised that Parker's roll die for damascus guns became damaged or lost by 1927 and thus, the hand engraving. Larry jr. and his father both examined the gun and described it as an unfired original.
