It may look that way by the picture, but the edge of extractor is flush to chamber when in closed position.
I think I may have figured it out. There was some side to side play in the extractor, once it was clear of the barrel cuts it rested in. The set screw for the extractor, I tightened it down to where the extractor will open, but it no longer allows for that side to side play. It's not wobbly at all now, this may have corrected it.... The question is, how long til it works loose again I guess.
