Re-set Ejectors
I am hoping to impose on membership here for a bit of advise. A friend has a very nice "G" 12ga on a 1 1/2 frame that is at the moment barrels off and the auto ejectors unset. In this position the gun will not re-assemble.
Forum FAQ's mentioned replacing forearm with lifter extended and then loading the ejectors back to the barrel face. I tried that a few times with no success. I am sure that I had completely moved the ejectors to their seat. Any suggestions? Maybe I am missing a step? It is a nice gun showing minimal wear. Thank you in advance for any and all advice. tim
