It looks like an upgrade that is worth finishing up right.
As others have said, get someone else to look at the gun/barrels. They are likely just fine. Delgrego is known for not doing anything with Damascus. Due to them being “lethal” and all. And these days it is truly disappointing to hear that they are still perpetuating that myth. There has been enough study, testing and first hand experience to have debunked it years ago.
