Default Gift for a friend

While I am posting pictures I thought I would share a gift I had made for my hunting partner. I went to a local saddle shop I had used for years and asked if he could make a 8 box shotshell leather case. Brian went and pulled an old catalog and asked " Like this". It seems his father and the two sons made these for Ambercombie and Fitch. Brian said he would look for the old forming blocks and patterns and would give me a call. A few days later he let me know he had located everything in a storage shed and could make me a case. Took a few months as it is amostly hand stiched, and hand tooled, but it was worth the wait. I recieved it the other day and am very pleased. Not everyday a person can get an original case made long after production. Just wanted to share. Now I will need to have one made for myself. He has a pigeon pattern that is excellent.
