Come on Mountain man, it’s a Gray. Different genus and specie. Back to remedial Wildlife 101. You’ll learn that grays do have some red in the fur, sometimes a lot. If you’re so sure, let’s see a pic of the white-tipped tail that belongs on a Red.

Oh yeah, I can hear the Mountain Man now ….. that’s a rare variation of a Red. Bwaaaaahaha.

Here's a Gray taken on opportunity with a Fox Sterly 20 bore and a Super-X with 4-shot. Check out the patches of red/orange fur. "A Fox Gets the Game".
