I have that press I bought when building my all electric homebrewing system. Except it was $69 a few years back. It ain't fancy, it's rather cheap, but I think it will work fine. I have not tried it on roll crimps but I'm not sure why a press would work better if the speeds are similar? Maybe I'm spinning too fast? Like I said, I just gave up.
