A good friend of mine has a black air rifle with a scope. I cannot for the life of me remember the name of that rifle, but it's something I'd never heard of. It's a compressed air job with a rotary clip, semiautomatic. When you look through the scope at a squirrel, for instance, you see two images of the squirrel. Focus it until you see one sharp image, put the crosshairs on it's head, and it's a dead squirrel. It compensates for the range by moving the crosshairs to match the ballistics of the rifle.
I saw him head shoot three, at out to 75 yards, with it last year. I wanted one bad until I looked into the price and realized how much he has in that rig. My yearning faded .......
