Me too Bill! An interesting gun with strong, heavy steel barrels yet that asks a number of questions that could hurt if the time ever comes to sell. Among them, what is up with the cyanide CC on the forend iron and the butt stock isn’t original. The OV stamped barrels seem to show they were made earlier than 1940. Researcher had the thought maybe Remington might have been running short on 2 frame barrels by then.
