Default 28 Repro wood and metal

Just received my 28 back from having the wood and metal redone. This Repro had been “well loved” by the previous owner(s). Not that it was abused (such as you might see with most hunting guide gun’s that are stored behind the seat of their pick-up truck) but it clearly had spent much time afield as there were lots of scratches and dings mostly on the stock with some on the forend too. The metal was completely worn of any finish and had a shiny chrome look to it. Surprisingly the barrels were in great shape with hardly a blemish. The original case was also well worn (a string holds one end of the leather handle to the case.)
The first time I hunted her I fell in love after my first shot took a woodcock trying to escape between the crotch of two branches in an old apple tree. So I sent her to a shop in NY for the wood and he sent the metal to another shop.
Here are some photos I took upon her return. I am not a very good photographer and like an idiot I did not take any “before” photos. Certainly welcome your feedback- good and bad. The work was done according to my request which does not follow the traditional look of the repros. Hope that doesn’t upset any of our dedicated collectors.
