Jerry,

I've been struck by the same Damascus truck. My interests have changed from being nothing but a fluid steel man two years ago, to now I have five Damascus Parkers in the safe.

Keep in mind that the black & white finish on the barrels I have picture on the DHE are original from 1897. I was told when I bought the GH that the barrels were re-finished by Kearcher several years ago. But I have no proof of that.

All I know is it sure is a hoot to follow my French Brit's with one of these hundred year old + piece's of artistry in my hands and bring down a limit of Pheasants with them.
