Here are some pictures. Everything was apart as I cleaned the gun all inside and out. Lots of residue was there. I'm guessing my parents didn't pay the gunsmith to clean it all over. I took pictures of the old cracks which are still in good shape with the (I assume) acraglass type repair. I've bent and twisted and added alcohol to the dry wood and did the same and the cracks never expanded or showed any liquid run indicating it was loose. The gunsmith must have used the acraglass everywhere including the back end of the stock which he filled in the spur and globbed it all in the back to make a straight edge rather than a curve. The forend is the finished color. The stock at the wrist was almost black it had so much oil in and around it. I'm waiting on fixing the butt end of the stock before I put the final color on. I might also try to fill in the minor gap at the barrel break lever. Would a burn on shellac filler be a good choice there?

I purchased some light power shells from RST for when I finish the rebuild. I feel like I should fire it after all these years when finished.

Also if anyone can link me a picture as to what the butt plate should look like for this model gun I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!
