Default Current 12 ga. Cheddite hulls

Ordered good supply 2 years ago. 2.75 inch and when needed trim to 2.5. These are stiffer than rooster lips. Load nicely but they seem to use a polymer coating instead than the wax in older hulls. 4 RST hulls split on the second reload using Edgars PB load. Split down the seam. Load shot well and broke clays with authority. Hulls interior burned pretty badly and I think I'll load once and toss just like I do with black powder loads. I have 2 and 3/4 pounds left of PB to use up. I do like the black powder loads in these paper hulls for an old time experience. I used my Texan heated hull conditioner and they reformed the mouths OK, but not as nice as Federal papers. With the black powder loads I like the look of the roll crimp loads. These are nice hulls but not as good as Federal hulls.
