Default Original Stippling on Parker

Hi everyone, new member here so I apologize for the influx of questions recently. There is a Parker VHE 16 gauge in a shop local to me that the stock has been stippled instead of checkered. The gun is priced exorbitantly due to the shop owner being a firm believer the stippling was done at the factory (5k plus). Are there any records of Parker doing anything other than checkering at the factory? Whoever did the stippling seems to have done a fine job - it isn’t a basement hack job. The stock is filled with cracks, some going all the way down through the grip area so i wouldn’t be interested in it anyways. Looks like maybe the barrels were cut to....
