Default Kansas 2020

Finally took my son out of state to hunt wild birds with us instead hunting local doves and released pheasant and quail. He has been hunting with me since he was eight or nine years old and is a good shot but with sports year round and then playing college baseball he was never available to go out of town and experience a "guys trip". We went to Great Bend Kansas and hunted all around and he shot his first wild quail and pheasants. We had one of the best days I have ever had on Quail with flushing and re-flushing over 100 quail, we did this on a day when the snow on the ground began to melt and the dogs went crazy with points and flushes and came up just shy of a three man limit. Im afraid he thinks this is what it is always like and this will be hard to duplicate. Here are a few photos of our trip.
